Employment and Language Training Programs for Newcomers
An informative workshop designed for newcomers to explore employment and language training opportunities in high-demand sectors such as Skilled Trades and Transportation & Supply Chain. Participants learned about specialized programs including Skilled Trades Employment Support—covering career pathways, apprenticeships, certifications, and employer connections—as well as industry-focused language training for logistics and transportation careers. The session also introduced Childminding and Food Handling training programs, offering essential skills, certifications, and hands-on experience to support successful entry into the Canadian workforce.
