Canadian Culture, Values and Social Norms

This session focuses on everyday Canadian social norms and behaviors, highlighting key cultural do’s and don’ts to help participants navigate daily interactions with confidence. It explores common communication styles, including the role of politeness and small talk, and provides guidance on workplace expectations such as professionalism, teamwork, and respectful communication. To make learning engaging and practical, the session also includes fun games and “what would you do?” scenarios that encourage reflection and discussion around real-life examples.
